De Nobel – product / services company in plants and flowers – is an officially recognized sustainable florist business with many ambitions. The Nobel has a large corporate clientele, but also focuses on wedding and funeral flowers and workshops.
Assignment
We have been asked to advise and assist the development of the retail concept of De Nobel with a focus on presentation, marketing communication, customer service and assortment. The aim was to increase both the turnover and profit in both the BTC and BTB channel.
Result
As a sparring partner we have organized and led various work- and brainstorm sessions with management and staff. We have also developed a very brief plan with the most important strategic and practical considerations. These will be gradually implemented by the management.
In this business case we focused on the assortment policy – especially the price structure, the optimum use of supply, prevention of unnecessary waste, spoilage and visual merchandising, and sales per m2 in relation to the presentation. We have also developed and provided customer training for staff and additionally coached some managers in achieving optimal results.
