IHC Merwede is focused on the continuous development of design and construction activities for the specialist maritime sector. It is the global market leader for efficient dredging and mining vessels and equipment – with vast experience accumulated over decades – and a reliable supplier of custom-built ships and supplies for offshore construction.
To develop and design a (international) strategic merchandise concept (branding, positioning and product range) for IHC Merwede (holding and divisions). The main condition of this merchandise concept was it had to be deployed all over the world and should reflect the positioning, core values and brand strategy of IHC Merwede Global. In this case merchandise has to be seen as a wide range of products (merchandise, presents, promotional items, give aways, business gifts, etc.). Target group of the merchandise products are the staff, the stakeholders, relationships and other contacts.
A concept plan and strategy for a current, new and complete merchandise concept. Parts are the method of commoditise, the (design of the) products with its different qualifications and possible purchase prices, the suppliers and countries where they can be purchased, the organization of logistics, the necessary internal and external marketing communications. After a benchmark of a wide range of potential suppliers we selected the most suitable partners and products for IHC Merwede based on extensive interviews, product selections and interviews.
